The Institute is committed to provide an environment that promotes diversity of all kinds by ensuring respect and protection of everyone including SC/ and acting as per the provisions of constitution of India in such matters. The Institute has evolved a mechanism to deal with the issue of equity among the equals by setting up a special committee to assist and monitor the students from Scheduled Cast (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities

• To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
   
• To ensure compliance of the orders of reservation issued and other benefits admissible from time to time in favour of SC/ST
   
• To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India.
   
• To provide the mechanism to redress the grievance of SC/ST students, if any.
   
• To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event at the campus.
   
• To aware the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships program of State Govt.
